Novell To Buy PlateSpin For $205 Million In Cash

Novell (NOVL) this morning announced a deal to acquire data center management software provider PlateSpin for $205 million in cash. Investors in PlateSpin included Insight Venture Partners, OpenView Venture Partners, CastleHill Ventures, Covington Capital and Skylon Capital.
Novell this morning is down 6 cents at $6.51.
